About

Meredith Whipple Callahan

Meredith Whipple Callahan is a Partner at The Trium Group, an author, and an executive coach to senior leaders and their teams. She brings more than a decade in strategy consulting to her ongoing work in leadership development.

Earlier in her career she co-created the Inspirational Leadership Program at Bain & Company and led development efforts at Bridgewater Associates, where her focus was executive development and cultural continuity. After running her own executive coaching practice, she joined Trium in 2024 to do this work with a bigger platform and greater impact. She is a certified executive coach and facilitator, with an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a BA in Religious Studies from Yale University.

Her work draws on a practical, pragmatic, strategic side and a reflective, existential one, and she brings reason and intuition to the room together. She meets executives where they are, examines the truth underneath, and pushes toward what they want for themselves, their teams, and their organizations.

Reflective writing has been her personal discipline for decades, and it is part of how she works with the leaders she coaches. Her new book, Write to Lead, distills what she has learned about using reflective writing as a serious instrument of leadership development, a way to see oneself and one’s choices more clearly and to become more effective in the world. She is also the author of Indispensable: How to Succeed at Your First Job and Beyond and The Intentional Life: Reflections from Conscious Living.

She lives in Boulder, Colorado, with her wife, two children, and a delightful community of friends.
